Changes are afoot…

Hello there! As you may have noticed, blogging has not historically been my one of my strong suits.

A little over four years ago I started Hendrick’s Lutherie in a tiny basement room of our old house in Alstead, NH, and three years ago my family moved to Grantham, NH, where I have been working out of a much larger basement shop. Since then, it has been one of the most rewarding challenges of my life to figure out how to make this ship float. It has been going better than expected, but there is always so much work to do, and finding time to sit down and write blog posts has just felt pretty low on the list of priorities.

Since transitioning to being both a craftsman AND a business owner, it has become clear to me that some changes are necessary in order to continue to provide the best quality service I possibly can to my customers. What better opportunity than to use this forum as a way to communicate directly to you some of the machinations of this craft and what the future holds for all of you and myself as this business evolves.

I am thrilled and honored to be able to serve the people of New Hampshire and beyond doing work that I am passionate about. It has been an awesome journey thus far, and I am very excited about the future and what my business can offer to music lovers across New England. In the coming days and weeks, I will be expounding upon my vision and where I hope to take things from here.
