Some important things to clarify:

  • A credit card number is required to secure an Intake appointment. It will NOT be charged at the time of booking. There is an option to pre-pay if you prefer. All classes require full pre-payment online to book.

  • There is a flat fee of $75.00 for any Maintenance Intake appointments, and $100 for all Restoration Intake appointments. This fee will be absorbed into you completed invoice total, and can be paid after completion of repairs and at the end of your Pick Up appointment.

  • The minimum fee WILL be charged if the proposed work is declined OR deferred to a later time and is payable via cash, check, credit/debit, Venmo, or Paypal at the conclusion of your Intake appointment.

  • All Pick Up appointments must be scheduled online. There is no fee nor card information required.

  • A Follow Up appointment is available free of charge for any setup-related repair work (including fret work) up to 60 days after Pick Up. This is offered as a “while-you-wait” service to “dial in” your action to your liking, though it is optional and sometimes necessary to leave the instrument in certain cases.

  • You will be charged a fee of $50.00 if the appointment is missed without explanation. Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled 1 hour or more in advance. There is a link in your confirmation from Acuity Scheduling to do this.

  • You will receive email confirmation for your booking. It contains important info. Please read it.

  • A 3% surcharge will be added to completed invoices paid by credit or debit cards.

  • Upon acceptance, all jobs over $300 require 25% prepayment.

  • Any special order parts must be paid for in advance. This may require paying for shipping.

  • Labor rate is $100 per hour, and is subject to change without notice.

  • Turnaround times are not guaranteed, and fluctuate depending on the current workload and work being performed. No commitment will be made to meet a specific timeline.

  • No quotes will be given without a detailed, first-hand evaluation of an instrument.

  • Accepted warranty repairs for C.F. Martin and Taylor Guitars will have the minimum fee waived.
